Daniel became the bi-vocational pastor of Belfast Baptist Church on May 7, 2017.  He is a 1985 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX, where he received a Masters Degree in Communication.

He and his wife, Teresa, have been married for 25 years and began their music/preaching ministry - www.thepearlygates.net - in 1998.  Teresa now serves as assistant music director at Belfast.

Mrs. Janice Bolles is our church pianist/keyboard player. She is a very talented musician, playing both by ear and reading music. She is truly a blessing to the church.

Bro. J.W. Nickens - who turned 97 years old on July 20, 2022 - is our beloved Senior Deacon.  He has served the Lord for many years at Belfast Baptist Church. A quiet, humble man, Bro. J.W. leads with wisdom and integrity.

Bro. Kent Sweeton is one of the founding members of Belfast Baptist Church - which was founded in 1990. Bro. Kent serves Belfast in many capacities. He serves as our music worship leader and as church treasurer, as well as deacon.

As a lay leader, Bro. Kent, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is a guiding force in the church.
